A Time to Celebrate: NGA Wins Brandon Hall “Excellence in Learning” Award
Ten years ago, NorthgateArinso (NGA) undertook the largest public sector HRO project of its kind by working with the State of Florida to implement its People First system – a HR framework that serves more than 200,000 employees and retirees. We are excited to share that this groundbreaking project continues to evolve and was recently awarded a 2011 Brandon Hall “Excellence in Learning” Silver Award.
NGA received this honor for our comprehensive training development work for the State of Florida Department of Management Services. As background on the award-winning work, in 2010 the Department of Management Services engaged our Learning and Creative Services team to develop end-user training and real-time support for all State of Florida employees using People First.
The training program, “People First End-User Education Performance Support,” guided employees through a major July 2010 system release that included a SAP upgrade, recruiting software upgrade, new login page, new home page, improved timesheets and a new leave payout screen. This award and our continuing work with the State of Florida is just another example of NorthgateArinso’s differentiating focus on client service and dedication to driving clear and measurable results through innovative programs and technologies.
David DiSalvo, Florida Department of Management Services, Project Administrator, People First, stated: "Once DMS defined the training requirements, NorthgateArinso’s team quickly designed, developed, and launched a learning solution that trained 130,000 employees on the new system features. These learning materials greatly contributed to the success of the People First system release."
